Tuskit vs Zoho Books: accounting software or an order system?
Zoho Books is a full accounting product for businesses of many kinds. Tuskit is for shops whose work is orders. They overlap on invoices and GST, but they start from different places.
What Zoho Books is
Zoho Books is cloud accounting with invoicing, GST, banking and reports. On its India pricing page on 14 October 2026 it listed a Free plan (1 user plus an accountant, up to 1,000 invoices a year), and paid plans from ₹899 per organisation per month on monthly billing (Standard, 3 users, up to 5,000 invoices a year), rising to ₹1,799 (Professional, 5 users) and above. Prices exclude taxes and change, so check zoho.com/in/books/pricing.
What it does well:
- Deep accounting, banking feeds and reporting for growing businesses.
- A free plan for very small invoice volumes.
- A large ecosystem of other business apps from the same company.
How Tuskit is different
- Tuskit is order-first. Zoho Books begins at the invoice; Tuskit begins when the customer asks for the work.
- Staff see their own jobs on their phone, and the customer follows and approves through a secure link.
- Tuskit still includes the books and GST workings on every plan, with bank reconciliation and ageing on Pro, so a small shop may not need a second tool.

Which should you pick?
Pick Zoho Books if: Your accountant already uses Zoho, you need deep accounting and banking features, or you run a larger business with other Zoho apps.
Pick Tuskit if: You run a shop where orders, staff jobs, customer approvals and UPI collection are the daily work, and you want the books included without learning an accounting package.
