How to give shop staff their jobs on their own phones
Give each person a login on their own phone that shows only their jobs and a button to say it is done. The app keeps working when the signal drops, and catches up when it comes back.
1. List who works in the shop
Count everyone who will log in, you included. Starter has room for 2 people, Pro for 5 and Max for 10, owner included.
2. Give each person a helper login
A helper sees their own jobs on one screen and marks each one done. They do not need to be comfortable with computers.
3. Group work into queues by stage
On the Pro and Max plans, work queues by stage show which jobs are waiting at each step, for example cutting or stitching.
4. Decide who sees money, books and reports
On the Pro and Max plans, role-based permissions let you choose who sees money, books and reports. Your staff do not need to see them to do their work.
5. Expect poor signal
The phone app keeps working when the signal drops and catches up when it comes back, so a weak connection does not stop the work.
6. Choose when two people change the same thing
If two people edit the same customer, you are shown both versions and you choose. Other clashes are held for you to check.
7. Check the day's orders yourself
Because each person marks their own jobs done, you can look at your orders and see where they stand, instead of asking around.
Where Tuskit fits
Tuskit gives each person a helper login on their own phone on every plan: their own jobs, and a button to say it is done. Work queues and role-based permissions come with Pro and Max. The phone app works offline, and you stay in charge when changes clash.
